Our video album experience was excellent. Our representative, Jennifer, was wonderful to work with.  I was late getting everything to her, and she came in on a Saturday just to make sure our video would arrive on time. The experience was like having the business "next door" to work with, not some far away company who really doesn't care.

I had this video made as a wedding present for my nephew and his fiance.  We played it at the rehearsal, and I had no clue everyone in the room was crying until it was over and the lights came back on. I'm now known as the "aunt, that everyone wishes they had".  I believe I've started a trend!

I had two videos made for my wedding.  The first was a surprise for my new husband.  I collected pictures from his childhood and teen years that he had never seen and combined them with my pics and recent ones of the both of us to show during the soup/salad portion of our reception.  People were laughing, crying...even the catering help came from the kitchen to watch. 

     Then I made a surprise video for my Dad who recently had a stroke.  The two of us had always planned to jitterbug at my wedding...but the stroke prevented that and he was very self conscious.  When the music started we started slow dancing and then when he saw the video start he was mesmerized and we kept swaying in place (perfect so he wouldn't lose his balance) to pictures of the two of us from infancy to the present. 

     We're still in Hawaii on our honeymoon and the few times I called home, my family tells me that most of the wedding comments are about those videos.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

     My video was presented  at my sister's wedding (It was part of my maid of honor speech). We lost our mom a year and half ago, and my sister was having a hard time dealing with my mom not being here.

     In this video, I found a way to bring my mom to the wedding, it was so beautiful!!! I'm still hearing about it almost a month later! My sister was beside herself, and it was priceless!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

When I first ordered the video, I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted.  However, my consultant was EXTREMELY helpful in helping me to put my ideas together.  The video turned out better than I could ever have imagined.  I made it as a surprise to my husband at our wedding reception.  He was floored when he saw it.  It was emotional for everyone there.  His twin brother was so moved by it, he wants a copy of his own.  I will definitely use Retrospect again in the future!

     It's been 2 weeks since our wedding and friends and family are still talking about the video album!  I can't tell you how many people asked where we had it done and how can they get in touch with them for a future project.  Retrospect managed to incorporate every single idea I had.

     The skillful, technical, and artistic means by which everyone involved put together our video was fantastic.  Not only did you use your own creative interpretation for things Allison and I didn't specify, but you listened to our opinions, concerns, and likes/dislikes. 

     If you count the email correspondence we've had with our consultant, it's probably at least 15 emails over the course of a couple weeks, which means she was keeping us up-to-date and informed about our video.  That kind of professionalism and care for detail is evident in the product we've received.  Allison and I are thrilled with the video and will cherish it forever. 

     Thanks for making this what could have been a big pain in the rear an absolute joy for us to include in our big day.

We played our video at our rehearsal dinner as well as our reception. Everyone absolutely loved it and the wedding party loved our credits.  People were laughing the entire time throughout the credits portion.  I highly recommend doing this!!  Throughout the video the audiences loved to see Jeff and as we grew up as well as the time we spent falling in love with one another.  We gave them as gifts to our parents which they loved!  Jeff and I will keep it for life!!!  You guys are awesome!

The video was a surprise to the bride and groom, and they both cried. What a great idea to use Kristi’s wedding colors in the video!   It was all coordinated with a small card stock card that had the picture that you all put on the front of the video case with a note thanking every one for coming, tied to a small treat bag of Hershey Kisses. It was perfect!

     We had the 55th Wedding Anniversary for my mom and dad yesterday, and it couldn't have gone better. I watched it so many times  before the party...and still cried with joy when it was on the big screen with the music playing...it was fabulous. 

     I was amazed with how well your scanner scanned the pictures - especially the old ones that were so small - they were great  when enlarged! I actually noticed on the back window of the car that my  parent's took off for the honeymoon, was written the word "Sucker"  never  noticed that before...didn't know they used words like that 55 years  ago!!!

     My parent's did not want a big party with lots of guests for their 50th anniversary celebration, so the immediate family all stayed in a house together on the beach. We planned a nice dinner and presented them with the video. Everyone felt a little sentimental and overcome with emotion.

     The funny thing is...we watched it a couple days later and got so much more out of it. They were able to listen to the words of the songs and really appreciate the little things we originally missed. I was very impressed with Retrospect and their eagerness to make the video so special.      The video was a gift for my mom from her four children and grandchildren.  We showed the video at a party for her with about 350 people.  The video was the main focus and was shown at the end of the event.  My mom was completely overwhelmed. She cried the whole 10 minutes!  It was so emotional, she couldn't watch it again for a couple of days...now we can't get her to watch our favorite TV shows because the video is playing!  The people in the audience were stunned.  I couldn't have given her a more perfect gift. It is a gift that will become an heirloom (don’t mean to sound cheesy!).

We played the video at my Dad's 80th Surprise Birthday party.  At 80 years old, there's not much he needs or wants, so this was perfect! It was the highlight of the party!  Everyone, even people who don't know our family that well, really got into the video. They were tapping their toes and singing along with the music and some even cried.
     I can't think of anything I would have changed.  We had a discussion early on to decide whether to show the video at the party or not.  Some felt it was a personal family video and not for all at the party to see, but I'm so glad we decided to show it!  It was a hit!
